Our Tanzanian safari’s take place in Tanzania’s National Parks. Depending on the duration you choose, they include the Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, Tarangire, Lake Manyara, and Arusha National Parks. Each of which has their own unique attractions.
The Beta.
Our safaris are all private. You will have a personal Driver/Guide, and your own truck. If your group is larger than the capacity of one truck, then you’ll have 2 (or more) Driver/Guides and trucks. Each truck typically holds 4 or 5. Your group will have your own personal Chef that will prepare fresh breakfasts, box lunches, and delicious dinners during the camping components. Lodging consists of a mix of camping and resort hotels that maximize the quality and value of the experience. If you were to do all accommodations in lodges, it can be very expensive and misses out on an amazing camping experience. But camping the whole time can be draining as well. The food is also much better camping with your personal Chef, so we recommend a mix of both lodges and camping.
Most often, our clients like to relax on Safari after their climb to gain the full experience of Africa. While a safari after your climb is great, we actually recommend considering doing it prior to your climb. This allows you to recuperate from any jet lag and get used to the change in climate. Either way, before or after your climb, or without climbing at all, you certainly can’t go wrong!
Safari’s can be booked for 1 to 9 days or more. Costs will vary depending on how many people, days, park choices and your lodging choices. Lodging options include camping, permanent tented camps, and up to and including luxury hotels and lodges.
Safari is really an experience of a lifetime. Our goal is to make it comfortable, relaxing, safe, and unforgettable.
Itineraries and Pricing
Pricing for safaris can vary depending on many factors. These include whether the safari is the sole purpose of your visit to Tanzania or part of your climbing trip (this will affect airport shuttles and first and last night accommodations). The season you wish to travel, as lodges have high and low season rates. Your group size, duration, which parks, as well as add on options will all affect the end cost.
Below are some standardized and common safari itineraries and prices. These will form the base by which these trips can be expanded and customized. Please note that the pricing below does not include non-safari costs such as airport transfers and lodging before and after safari. We accept USD or BTC.
